IT and Communication Assistant

The organization seeks to engage an IT and Communication Assistant to provide comprehensive support in the areas of audiovisual documentation, IT management, digital marketing, and social media management. This role is crucial for ensuring seamless operations, effective communication, and online presence within the organization.
Objective: The primary objective of this engagement is to appoint a qualified individual who can proficiently manage audiovisual documentation, provide IT support, assist in digital marketing efforts, and manage social media pages, thereby enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of organizational operations and online outreach.
Scope of Work: The IT and Communication Assistant will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Manage audiovisual documentation of meetings, events, and presentations, including recording, editing, and archiving.
- Provide technical support for audiovisual equipment, including setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Assist in the management of IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems.
- Troubleshoot IT issues reported by staff, diagnose problems, and provide timely resolution.
- Assist in the development and implementation of digital marketing strategies to promote organizational activities, events, and initiatives.
- Manage social media pages, including content creation, posting, engagement, and analytics tracking.
- Support the development and dissemination of internal communications materials, including newsletters, announcements, and memos.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure the smooth functioning of IT, communication, and digital marketing systems.
Qualifications and Skills: The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
- Proven experience in audiovisual documentation, including proficiency in recording and editing software.
- Strong technical skills in IT support, with knowledge of hardware, software, and networking concepts.
- Experience in digital marketing, including familiarity with marketing strategies, tools, and platforms.
- Proficiency in managing social media pages, including content creation, scheduling, and analytics tracking.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical and marketing information clearly and concisely.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision.
